PROJECT: Investor Interior/Exterior Rehabilitation
LOCATION: Dunwoody, Fulton County
EXISTING CONDITION: The owner purchased this property as a distressed short-sale and it needed a solid amount of interior and exterior work that included both aesthetic updates and maintenance repairs.
CUSTOMER'S REQUEST: The investor was located out-of-state, so she needed a dependable, honest, and self-directed contractor who could complete the exterior and interior remodel with respect to her short time table and set budget. She also wanted someone who could provide design ideas and who would also provide suggestions on which improvements would give her the best return on her investment.
PROCESS: CRES Builders made several approved recommendations to the customer for exterior and interior remodeling, which included repairs of the roof and several cracks in the stucco's overlay, light landscaping improvements for enhanced curb appeal, and full painting of the home's exterior.
On at the interior, CRES Builders remodeled the kitchen, master bathroom, and basement bathroom, and installed new door hardware throughout the house. In addition, in an effort to create a more open floor plan on the main level, we removed one of the walls separating the kitchen and the family rooms. In the basement, we not only removed the basement cabinets and replaced the carpet, but we also replaced several outdated light fixtures and repaired the drywall. For a clean, well-rounded look, we finished our work by painting the garage floors and walls.
